if it's supposed to be that way and no options to change it then I'll tel my boss that, a reaction of WOW that's bright was common when people logged in for first time, I'll see if any windows settings make a difference

I'm almost tempted to tell you to take a picture of your screen with a camera and upload it to see if it is that much different than I am seeing, but that's kind of ...silly..
