Gotta start somewhere!nader wrote:I'm new in Nagios XI and a little lost !
What exactly are you looking to monitor? If you're able to communicate with those hosts, this should be pretty trivial.nader wrote:I have some computer out of my office that connect to internet ,should i use Nagios XI to check if those computer running?

Depends on if that information is available. What kind of OS?nader wrote:Want to check cpu temperatue
A lot of different ways to do it. Again, what OS?nader wrote:hard drive left capacity
Connect how? What do you want to monitor on them? What model?nader wrote:and cameras that connect to these remote computers
What OS? Makes a world of difference. I am slightly confused since above you said that they are connected to the computer.nader wrote:that each of them has separate DNS and valid IP.

Start off by monitoring free space by using NSClient++

Then use the Windows Server Wizard.

Are these cameras only accessible from that Windows PC, or can any device on the network get to them?nader wrote:cameras that now I can see via DNS and port.
