Whitelisting Nagios sites

Post by Fred Kroeger »

Our Security team needs to whitelist all the sites that Nagios needs to perform updates, etc.
Can you provide me with such a list ? These should be all the sites NagiosXI uses when I select Update via the GUI and also all the components & wizards now that I can do it via the GUI.

Thanks... Fred

Hi Fred,

You're going to want to whitelist api.nagios.com and assets.nagios.com. Maybe just nagios.com for good measure (if you can get away with that). While you don't *need* it, I would also recommend you have access to https://exchange.nagios.org, as that is where you find plugins and such.
