So did you, or did you not add the line to the sudousers file?Just to inform that for any other server, we are not adding this line into the sudousers file but we are able to monitor it successfully.
can you please confirm on this query as well.
What are the permissions of ls -l /home/

We did the changes in sudoers file as suggested by you but that didn't fixed the issue.
permission as below:
drwxr-xr-x
we can have a screenshare if you want to have a look for the settings at Nagios and Remote server.

After running the command, we got the actual problem.
Nagios was not having proper permission.
