Performance counters with Nsclient++

Post by mdsupersonic »

Hi Support team,
unfortunately after locking the previous thread ,My service stopped working and return this error : ' Failed to poll counter: Web Service PdhAddCounter failed: c0000bb9: The specified counter could not be found.'
I don't know what exactly happened,everything was fine and suddenly it shows Unknow status with above error message.
Any help appreciated.

Doh! Did you make the change in the CCM, or the raw file?

Could you post the entire check_command for us to review?

One thing to note - if it just magically changed, after previously working, you may have multiple processes running. What is the full output of ps -ef?

Did you modify it in the Core Config Manager, or the raw file on the machine? If you edited the raw file, it'll get overwritten by the CCM every time you apply configuration.

Do you believe in ghosts?

Hehe, I'm not sure either, but it sounds like things are working once again. It could have been a case of multiple processes as I mentioned above.

I'll leave this thread open for now since your last one was locked - let us know if it comes up again and we'll address it.
