Under Capacity planning I can see the options Observed ,Predicted ,Fit ,Warning & Critical so please let me know what is meant by fit ?

Fit is the best fit linear line generally speaking, Predicted uses more complicated algorithms.

It is the average / best fit for the line based on what the available data points are.

The feature is included by default for any Capacity Planning graph. A best linear fit is simply a straight line through a plotted graph with the line as close to all points as possible. It's best used to predict static change.
