Yes. I am using Manage Hosts to attach a host to the service. However, when I Apply Configuration, the host_name does not get applied to the cfg file.
I've attached a screen shot showing that the service has one managed host. Again, I'm not sure why the host_name is not getting added to the .CFG file. However, if I REMOVE the host name and assign the wildcard "*", the host_name gets added with * and the configuration gets applied successfully.
Error: Service has no hosts and/or service_description

Could you actually show us the screenshot after you click 'Manage Hosts'? We'll need to make sure it's assigned properly.

Here is a pic of the Manage host assignment window. Again, if I remove the assigned host (cenvapprd51) and add '*', the Apply Configuration will work and add host_name = *
But when I go back and remove '*' and assign a specific host, when I Apply Configuration, it will fail with the error message "Error: Service has no hosts and/or service_description...". When I go into the Cenvapprd51.cfg file, the host_name is then missing.
This happens to all of the services - not just this one host.
