Service Escalations node not there

Post by wspackaging »

Trying to delete a host from Nagios XI

I go to the services and able to delete all the service except one (Ping).
When I try I get the error:

Object ID: 9 of table tbl_service:
Relation to Serviceescalations, entry: Network High - Dependent relationship
Object still has dependent relationships!Item was not deleted.

So I went into Service Escalations and looked at the Escalation "Network High" but the host does not exist in that list of hosts.

Suggestions?

Navigate to Configure -> Core Config Manager -> Config File Management -> Run a 'delete', 'write', and then a 'verify. This will clear up any 'ghost' files which it sounds like you may be experiencing.

If that doesn't work, can you please PM over a profile for us to review? (Admin -> System Profile -> Download Profile) This will allow us to see your definitions and what's being parsed.

The delete write verify resolved the issue.

Thanks
