Reactor replaced by Rundeck

Post by WillemDH »

Just fyi, after 8 months I was finally able to kill our Reactor server and replace it with Rundeck. Removed the Nagios XI integration, actions etc.

For people who are interested in a good, free and open source automation replacement, check out Rundeck.

Willem - have you written any articles about integrating with Nagios? This may be useful for others in the future.

No I haven't (yet). Really short on time though, so I'm not making any promises...

I understand completely. I won't hold you accountable. You've also been one to say that, and then you whip up an entire document a couple hours later.

Let's leave this open for when you get bored.

Going to close this up for house-keeping's sake, but PM me if you would like it re-opened.
