Attached again. Looks like it has both contact and contact groups even though I only configured contact groups in service. but it also added contract from host config to service. Why is that?

You will probably want to take a look at https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... tance.html

Also, can you post your template.cfg?

host template file and service template are attached. I still don't understand the reason why service was inherited contact from host template file. To me, it makes more sence if It is inherited from service template

Can you address @tgriep's question here? https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... 73#p222591

It's difficult to provide meaningful feedback without some understanding of your issue.

"check ftps Certificate expiration_windows"
Was it deleted?

Is there another service check you want us to look at?
If so, what is the name of it?

Can you login to the Nagios server as root, run the following and post the output?

Code: Select all

ps -ef --cols=300
Thanks
I attached output here

I have to rename objects.cache to objects.cache.txt when I uploaded it. Please find objects.cache.txt in above post

Can you provide a screenshot of the service check ftps Certificate expiration_windows from XI > Core Config Manager?

You should also consider upgrading your system.

Just checking in since we have not heard from you in a while. Did @avandemore's post clear things up or has the issue otherwise been resolved?
