Re: Notification Logs missing
And I assume you can't attach it either? It sounds like you should email [email protected] to generate a ticket. Once you have a ticket #, you can use our uploader: http://otrs.nagios.com/upload.php

Re: Notification Logs missing
Please attach your /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/reports/notifications.php Also, what is the output of ll /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/reports/notifications.php? Please put the output in a code block. The "Code" button is the fifth from the left on the post input screen (between Quote and List).
Also, can you attach a screenshot of the pages you mention so we can see how the frames are laid out?
Did this issue start when you updated to 5.4.5? If so, can you attach your upgrade.log if you still have it...or install.log if it was a fresh install.

Re: Notification Logs missing
this issue started sometime after 2100 lastnight.
no updates since the latest update was available.
Since I first started this thread, 3 items did decied to reveal itself. I attached the noptification.php file (had to change the extention as it would not let me upload a php extention)
how do I get the output of the notification.php file?

Re: Notification Logs missing
looking at your nagios.log, there were only 3 NOTIFICATION's since the log rotated, the same 3 that are showing in the last screenshot
Re: Notification Logs missing
Yes, that is all the notification log is showing.
my issue is the fact that there were notifications going out. The notification that went out were all valid. they just did not show on the notification page.
But anyway, whatever the issue was, it has passed. WIth doing nothing on the nagios server, not even rebooting the system.....during the weekend, the notification log updated as expected.
so i guess this ticket can now be closed.
