Hi all,
after "Delete --> Write --> Verify --> Apply configuration" we recieved the same error
Error: Service has no hosts and/or service_description (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/services/SSISVR15.cfg', starting on line 96)
But in the graphical user interface the host is associated

We come back to an archive snapshot and nagios work again
When we try to modify any services or create newone we recieve the error above.

We also try to
disassociate the host from the services --> save --> associated the host again ... but when we press on apply configuration, "core config manager" generate the file .cfg of of the services without the line "host_name"

@andrea.errani,

Have you tried repeating the process of Delete --> Write ---> Verify?
You may have different objects with multiple config errors.

Or is it the same error message for "SSISVR15.cfg"

Did you also do an upgrade? If, so what version did you upgrade to and what version of XI are you on?
