Help clearing log files

I have nagios running under groundwork, and as we have not looked at the install in a while, the disk is now full.

Where should I delete the log files from ?

Can you tell me
a) what log file format will be (i.e. the file name, and contents) - so I can check I am deleting the correct files
b) Where these files will be located under nagios.
