Nagios XI: Data Domain monitoring

Post by vijmane »

Hi,

We are trying to monitor the Data Domain tool from Nagios XI, for that i searched the in Nagios exchange and only found the below
Check Data Domain plugin:

http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Pl ... in/details

I tried installing the plugin and tested the plugin from the Nagios XI server, initially it gave an error "./check_dd.pl: /usr/local/groundwork/bin/perl: bad interpreter: No such file or directory"

I found that perl was installed in other location so executed the script using the actual perl location, now I'm getting another error attached.

This plugin doesn't come standard with Nagios XI, but based on the result you are getting I would guess that either the SNMP community string public isn't correct, or the server you are reaching out to doesn't know what that OID is.
