NRPE agent installation on different OS

Hi Team,

I have to install nrpe agent on a number of servers. I checked in Nagios Support Knowledgebase for the document, but I am getting confused as there are a number of OS versions.
Can you please provide me standard documents for nrpe agent installation on below OS versions:

Ubuntu 10.04LTS
Ubuntu 11.04
CentOS 6.4
RHEL 5.10
Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS
RHEL 6.4
RHEL 7
Ubuntu 16.0.4 LTS
Ubuntu 14.04.5
CentOS 7

Instead of compiling NRPE on various OS version, then installing nagios plugins, you could just use our official Linux NRPE agent installer:

It will work on most of the operating systems you listed. It will install both, NRPE and the Nagios plugins. It won't work on Ubuntu 10.04, 11.04, and RHEL 5.10 though, which reached end of life some time ago... For these systems, you will have to find some other way of installing NRPE or upgrade them.

I hope that this isn't considered hijacking. Is the preferred way to install on AIX to compile nrpe?
