Contacts

Post by donnyforbes »

We have a user that is leaving our company. What is the best way to remove the user from Nagios XI so they don't receive any alerts anymore?

Thanks

CCM -> Bulk Modifications Tool

Remove Contact
Select contact -> Find relationships
Click Check All under hosts and services
Click Save changes

In CCM -> Contacts
Delete contact
Apply Configuration

it says I have to have the enterprise version in order to use this option. We have standard so what are the steps to get this accomplished?

Then you would need to go to
In CCM -> Contacts
click the i (Relationships)
remove the contact from all of their relationships

Once there are no more, you can
Delete contact
Apply Configuration
