Received recovery alert but not critical alert

Post by ITOMB_IMT »

Hi,

we are hosting Nagios Xi 5.6.3. on 09/18 for a host we received recovery alert but not the critical alert. i checked Reports> Notification, Reports > State History and event log all i see is about recovery email but not critical alert. Any lead on investigating the issue will be helpful.

Thanks,

It is final testing, but I can not give an exact date prior to release in case additional problems are found and date could be pushed out.

we saw one critical alert missing with its recovery email, how can we know when it happens and what makes it to happen. Also we saw only service, will it happen with other services/Hosts too?

Thanks,

5.6.7 has been released, have you upgraded to that version?

Not yet, we have a life cycle to follow to upgrade to 5.6.7. we need to finis testing in Dev completely and then in prod. It may take some time.

Let us know once you are able to upgrade to XI 5.6.7 which will bring your Core version up to 4.4.5 and should resolve this issue.
