plugin timed out

i am getting the alerts on our vmware cluster about all the services that the plugin times out but after 5-10 minutes it comes to normal without doing anything.
server name : iadvcbf001

can u tell me wats breaking it so that we can fix it.

on the esxi side we see that the account locked out due to the max number of login exceeded from the root account but afaik we are using the nagios user to access the vcenter from nagios.

Can you provide some details on which plugin and it's version that you are using to check the VMWare clusters?

i um using vma 6.7 and vmware virtualization wizard for the vmware cluster monitor.

Take a look at the following links for the Wizard and Plugin that you are using to monitor your infrastructure and make sure they are up to date.

In this manual, take a look at page 83 for a possible solution to the Timeout issue. You may need to resize the VMA server.
