Hello,

we are getting 3 errors after upgrade to 5.7

Error 1:

Error 2:
Your license needs to be re-activate in order to access certain features of Nagios XI. Activate your license now.

Error 3:

We have tried repairing the database but that doesn't help. Output of database repair below.

Hello,

Your upgrade doesn't seem to have finished properly, can you post your upgrade.log from inside the nagiosxi directory that you upgraded from? Typically that's /tmp/nagiosxi.

looking at the logs.

the upgrade to 5.7 was not successful, and we're not sure how to revert back to the previous working version. or how to get the upgrade to v5.7 working...

Have you backed up your Nagios XI system prior to attempting the upgrade to XI 5.7.0 as described in our official documentation?

https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf

If you have, you could restore your system, but following the steps, outlined in the document listed above.

Having said that, I would recommend that you rerun the upgrade script.

Code: Select all

cd /tmp/nagiosxi
./upgrade
If it fails again, post the new (updated) upgrade.log on the forum. Thanks!

I see you opened a ticket as well.

I'm going to close this thread and reference the thread in the ticket.

If you could, pleas add the above to the ticket
