getting error error-1 error-2

Hi,

i successfully installed nagios core. when i gave the command make install, i am getting error[1] and error[2]. can someone guide me in the installation?

Platform RHEL

logged in as root.

You're going to need to provide a little more detail... If it installed successfully, what is giving you an error message? Are you able to post the relevant part of the install process that is failing?

nagios is only for inventry type of software? I thought of it as network monitoring software like wireshark. want to monitor the traffic flow of router and switches is it possible with nagios?
