Unfortunately we do can not give time frames or give a status on a feature request. We have noted the request for this feature again. If this is something that is required quickly we do have the ability for users to create their own custom api endpoints if you would want to get into the code. If you would like to look into this, log into your XI instance and navigate to Help => Developer Docs => Custom API Endpoints.
