Why is nagios creating two groups

Hi,

Nagios is creating two groups when installing LINUX agent

nagios503:nagios
nagcmd504:nagios

I am trying to find out the use of nagcmd

Can i get help in this to find out

You've got a point - there is no need for "nagcmd" group to be added by the linux agent installer. We will probably remove it in the future versions of the installer. However, if you have Nagios Core or Nagios XI installed on this box, "nagcmd" will exist, and it will be needed by nagios.
