Change of IP-Adresse (Distribution: CentOS 7 Core)

Good day,

we have to following problem: We have to change simple the IP-Adress from our Nagios-XI-Server (Distribution: CentOS Linux 7 (Core) but unfortunately it was not possible so far to change same.

With the "usual" commands it was unfortunately not successfull so far..

Need quickly help how to change the ip-adress as have no access presently to have Monitoring of Nagios XI.

You'll want to check the centos documentation for changing the host IP. Of course once changed hosts monitored via an agent such as nrpe will have to be reconfigured.

Assuming nothing has changed from Centos 7 to Centos 9 (A big reach, I know), check the files under /etc//sysconfig/network-scripts/ifconfig-* and /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections.
