With SSO on, users cannot update their email addresses

Post by adamsj »

A user reported this to me today, and I've confirmed it: With SSO active, a user cannot update their email address. They get an error saying "Please enter your current password to change password or email." Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Hi @adamsj,

Thanks for reaching out. I will check with the team, to see if this is a known issue.

In the meantime, I created an issue so we can get this problem addressed. Once the issue is fixed, the line in the Changelog will be identified as [GL:XI#1782].

This may be a more complicated issue than can be quickly addressed in this forum. To get more help, please open a support ticket here: https://support.nagios.com/, so our support team can help you.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hi @adamsj,

We need a bit more information to duplicate this issue. Built in SSO for XI has not officially been released yet. Is this a third party SSO solution or could this be an OAuth or AD/LDAP issue?
Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
