Scheduled Downtime systems/services missing

Post by JohnFLi »

I have a few systems that send out alerts saying they are going to DOWNTIME, then later an alert saying DOWNTIME is finsihed.
The issue is, there is one that I want to remove from that.....except, i cannot find it in the downtime list to remove from downtime.

any ideas?

Code: Select all

Installed Version:	2026R1.5

Code: Select all

***** Nagios XI Alert *****

A period of scheduled downtime for this service was started by<Persons name> with a comment of 'AUTO: JPatching'. Notifications will be disabled until the scheduled downtime is over.

Notification Type: DOWNTIMESTART

Service: Secret Server App Pool
Host: <HostName>
Address: <HostName>
State: OK
Info:
SecretServer AppPool is RUNNING:
Date/Time: 06/03/2026 22:30:04

then later:

Code: Select all

***** Nagios XI Alert *****

This service has come out of a period of scheduled downtime. Notifications will now be sent out as needed on a normal basis.

Notification Type: DOWNTIMEEND

Service: Secret Server App Pool
Host: ***** Nagios XI Alert *****

Hello @JohnFLi,

Do you have that host in Home->Incident Management->Recurring Downtime?

You can always modify your configuration for the given host under the CCM->Hosts-><your-host>->Alert Settings and making sure it's not set for downtime if the notifications are specifically what you care about.

part of the problem....it isn't showing, thus making it difficult to remove it from downtime.

But i do now see the item for downtime in Host/Alert Settings (and services)

i will have to make sure they are turned off there as well
