Re: No Metrics or Performance Graphs

Can you please post your /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg

Also, can you verify that on the service detail page for the service you are looking for performance graphs on, that if you click on the advanced tab, you do in fact have a value after Performance Data:

Checked a few Service details and yes they are showing values (CPU Usage and Disk Usage etc.), but the graphs are not showing.

Remove this portion from the end of your nagios.cfg

Code: Select all

# begin nagiosgraph configuration
# process nagios performance data using nagiosgraph
process_performance_data=1
service_perfdata_file=/tmp/perfdata.log
service_perfdata_file_template=$LASTSERVICECHECK$||$HOSTNAME$||$SERVICEDESC$||$SERVICEOUTPUT$||$SERVICEPERFDATA$
service_perfdata_file_mode=a
service_perfdata_file_processing_interval=30
service_perfdata_file_processing_command=process-service-perfdata-for-nagiosgraph
# end nagiosgraph configuration
then restart nagios

Code: Select all

service nagios restart

Gents

For good measure i did a reboot, after which it apears the graphs are now displaying.

I am guessing something went wrong when i added the nagiosgraph component that caused the issue?

Thanks fo the assistance.

Excellent, a full system reboot? Perhaps something was hanging.. I just want to verify you rebooted it safely, and didn't "Pull the plug." As this can cause DB corruption.
