Clients Disapearing from Configuration
Re: Clients Disapearing from Configuration
If it is a VM, make sure no one accidentally rolled it back to a previous snapshot. I will look into possible causes from nagiosql tomorrow.

Re: Clients Disapearing from Configuration
I had a family emergency last nite, but I had a thought. A few years back we had another monitoring program in use and it suffered the same issues and what we found was that the internal MYSQL database had a size limitation to it...I am wondering if Nagios is setup this way? Just a thought?

It would be an issue with nagiosql, but I have yet to hear of this problem (size limit) and there are many people running nagiosql with very large installations. I will continue to look into nagiosql though.stevekcnet wrote: A few years back we had another monitoring program in use and it suffered the same issues and what we found was that the internal MYSQL database had a size limitation to it...I am wondering if Nagios is setup this way?
