Unable to retrieve data from the local cache.

Upon adding a new Nagios XI server to Fusion, the error "Unable to retrieve data from the local cache." is returned.

Is this because no network element are being monitored yet, would localhost not be sufficient, any insight on this?

It may take some time before the local cache is first populated. Are you still experiencing the problem?

Yes. Been over an hour. Please note nothing but localhost is being monitored on this new XI server.

If you go to Configure->Server credentials can you verify the following:

server type: Nagios XI
Authentication: Session
Check(far right): is green and OK

Turned out to be an issue on my end (/etc/hosts)
