Unable to retrieve Printer Event log alerts

I tried the command you said it shows

snmpwalk -v 1 -c public 192.168.0.1 1.3.6.1.2.1.43.18.1.1.8
you have new mail in /var/spool/mail/root

Ok, so if you got no output, then this printer doesn't have the OID that the plugin is trying to query.

It may not have the messages OID....

You will need to figure out the correct OID for MESSAGES as the one listed in this thread is not walkable, implying that it is unavailable for this printer.

This would be done through snmp. Do you have OID/MIB information from the printer vendor?
