Hi
I want to monitor 50 hosts.
I there any way where i can create and template with all the services that i need to monitor for a host
And use this template for all the hosts rather can adding the agents manually

Yes you can do this, simply navigate to Configure > CCM > Templates > Service Templates, and create your templates here, then apply them to hosts.

I created a template how do i add to hosts

Either through the wizards, or through the CCM. Once you have created/added a host, go to the CCM and open up the host there. You should be able to add a template to the host from its management screen in the CCM.

I opened the host in CCM. How do i add service template to this host. I do not any option

Oh, my mistake, a service template would apply to a service, not a host. So open up the service in the CCM and click "manage templates".

You can add the template to a host from the same page you just created it on, enter the templates configuration page and click manage hosts.

With the "Active" check box, on the same page.

Are the template settings not effecting the service object?
After you activate it, you do have to "apply configuration" in order for your change to get written to the config files.
