Hi,

How to monitor IBM-AIX machine in NagiosXI?
is it possible to use snmp for monitoring ibm-aix machines?
pls give me step by step instaruction to proceed....

Yes, SNMP would likely be the easiest route. There is a configuration wizard available for SNMP (http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Ad ... rd/details), so you can just walk through that for whatever OIDs you want to monitor. If you need any additional MIBs specific to AIX there is a document on SNMP integration on the Library that includes a section on that, but most things should be pretty standard.
