Solaris 10 nagios agent

Hi,

I followed up the below document for solaris agent installation.

But received the ssl handshake error.

Please let me know if any other modification has to be performed.

Also i have the concern , i have nagios core installed on RHEL and below are the plugin & agent version. But above attached solaris binaries of 4.16 and agent is of 2.14 version . Even if the agent installation is successful on solaris server will this be compatible with nagios core ?

Nagios Core version :- 3.5.1
plugin :- 4.15
nrpe agent :- 2.13

I would take a look through this document's SSL section as it will pertain to you:

The agent and server should be able to communicate fine between those versions.

Hi,

But ./fullintall will take of everything i believe . There is no ./configure command to compile in below provided link and package.

Please suggest me how to resolve the issue.

That is due to the solaris agent shipping in binary format. You do not need to compile the agent if you installed it from our package.

then how we can resolve the issue , I have downloaded the agent from nagios site itself and followed the below link. what are the prerequisite we have to check before running ./fullinstall . please let me know. Because i am getting SSL error once the agent installation is done.

So you already ran the installation? All pre-reqs are installed along side the agent when running ./fullinstall...
