Nagios Map

Post by Wnt2bsleepin »

Hello All,

I was able to get the map to work, but it doesn't appear to be showing any hosts connected to the main server.

Image

How do I add the other two machines I am monitoring to the map? Can i customize what image is used to represent them? Thanks for any help.

However, if I select a different view mode, they show up. They don't have any parent's associated with them though. How do I specify the main Nagios server as the parent of the two servers running NRPE?

Hello;
there is a bug but it is corrected, you should apply the patch and then recompile the nagios.

http://tracker.nagios.org/view.php?id=470

it's for 4.0.0 but works also for 4.0.1
When it asks specify the patch of your nagios source.

Bye

This patch worked for me. Revising objects.c & cgiutils.c
Using CentOS 6.4 and Nagios 4.0.1.
