That is a mystery at this point since the resolution was simple and worked 100% of the time we did not dig deeper into the root cause, you may have changed time settings and restarted nagios while they were out of sync, or something may have goofed up in the retention.dat file "more likely." One question, what is the exact version of Core you are running? Another user is experiencing this however in his case removing and re adding does not work.

Time like change the time on the system ? Also im making snapshots on the virtual machine ( nagios is on virtual machine and making snapshots if i go wrong to go back, i do this often )? and this i dont understand goofed up in the retention.dat. Is this file is the same file from the downloaded tar.gz file that i just put it with "make install-init" and this error is code type in the same file, i put the code there i changed and worked or i put the correct file and it work. How can the code in the file be changed ? Any way it works now its ok :) tnx for the help and analysis, iv got to say, you are excellent support and i would like to join you ;) ( still learning this nagios but im coming :D )
And for the questions Im running Nagios Core 4.0.1 on CentOS 6.4

This is hard to understand, I'm not sure what you are referring to here, but glad to see it is all resolved now.
