Hi Team ,
Is there a limit in the number of arguments that you can supply when configuring a service via CMM ( as I can see it allows to setup 8 arguments ) ?
Also , is the normal_check_interval parameter set as default for all services and if so , what is the default value ?
Thanks
Clive

Re: Arguments and normal_check_interval parameter
Sort of. Technically you can have up to 32 args, but the CCM page for services allows only 8. However you can sort of cheat this by using quotes to stick multiple things into one arg. Most people never need 8 args. The command definition allows you to specify which and how many args to use, but you still have the restriction in the service definition.madhudeva wrote:Hi Team ,

I don't believe it is. What version of Nagios are you using?madhudeva wrote:Also , is the normal_check_interval parameter set as default for all services and if so , what is the default value ?

Thansk for the fix. We use Nagios Xi . But looks like it is a replacement parameter
