You appear to have multiple issues going on here, and we will need to take care of (and confirm) each of them in turn:
  1. Yum config had no valid mirrors. Since you claimed to have installed NTP, perhaps you fixed this already, but I'm not sure as I don't see a step where that actually happened.
  2. NTP was not installed. Again, maybe you did this already, but since I don't actually see the step I'm mentioning it still. If there is something blocking it from working you should talk to your network administrator about the proper time server to use, or just set the time manually as described earlier, and then confirm it with the script below.
  3. System time is incorrect either on the server, workstation, or possibly both. I have attached a script you can use to check this. Simply rename it to time.php (stripping the .txt extension), upload it to the /var/www/html/ directory on your XI server (with a command session similar to below if from a Linux/Unix system), and then visit /time.php with your web browser and take a screenshot, similar to those also attached.

    Code: Select all

    tyarusso@ubuntu-desktop:~/Downloads$ mv time.php.txt time.php
    tyarusso@ubuntu-desktop:~/Downloads$ scp time.php [email protected]:/var/www/html/
    [email protected]'s password:
    time.php 100% 2169 2.1KB/s 00:00

  4. Configuration verification fails. As mguthrie noted, you will need to walk through all of the suggestions found on http://support.nagios.com/wiki/index.ph ... n_Problems and report back on how they go.
  5. Possibly Nagios engine or MySQL issue - we can't begin to identify that until the above points are addressed.
Look, I have followed all your recommendations and steps
No, you have not. Particularly, you need to actually go through the steps described for diagnosing your configuration verification error by looking at the failed snapshot.
Again I did not have this issue until YOU told me to UPGRADE.
That is simply factually untrue, as you said in one of your earliest posts precisely as follows:
I guess I need to upgrade because i just cleaned up the cache but it is still doing the same thing.
So, while we understand that things are not working for you at the moment, you need to remain calm and walk through the necessary steps for properly diagnosing your issue, not shift blame and insult our support staff.

Please try to complete the aforementioned steps before your session with rdedon tomorrow, as it will be infinitely more productive for him if you already have those results prepared.

That will certainly be one of your issues then. Your XI server's time is over 4 hours behind your workstation's time, which would trigger the "Sorry Dave" error.
