I didn't see postgres in the list, can you check it?

Did you change the address of the web interface from within Admin > Manage System Config? Can you access nagios core @ ip.addr.of.server/nagios ? Did you make any system level changes or changes to the actual VM itself prior to rebooting that may be in conflict?

No, I didn't make any changes. All I attempted to do was a reboot. Also, I cannot get to that page either.

Actually when I tried to reboot. It's stuck at this page:

root (hd0,1)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-3.1.0-1.2-desktop root =/dev/sda2 resume=/dev/sda1 splash=
silent quiet vga=0x314
[Linux-bzImage,setup=0x4200, size=0x4b2b60]
initrd /boot/initrd-3.1.0-1.2-desktop
[Linux-initrd @ 0x37775000, 0x87a0c7 bytes]

Sounds like it is stuck at grub. Do you see any other errors/messages?
Have you made any other changes to the vm?

Power the vm off and then start it up again. Give us a synopsis of what happens after it starts.

It gives several boot options. Do you want me to boot from disk?

It should just auto boot the first grub option. Is it just sitting at the menu? If so, boot from the hd and choose the first grub kernel option. Strange. Did you update the kernel recently?
EDIT: what are the options?
