If the 2.0 version created the rrds incorrectly, you should get errors in the perfdata logs:

tail -25 /usr/local/nagios/var/perfdata.log
tail -25 /usr/local/nagios/var/npcd.log

I did uninstall the 2.0 wizard, remove all of the old configs for 2.0, then install the 1.7 wizard and then re-add the switches.

/usr/local/nagios/var/perfdata.log does not exist

Here is the output for tail -25 /usr/local/nagios/var/npcd.log
