Unable to delete hosts

Post by james.kyaw »

When I try to delete a retired host I receive this error:

Could not find a unique id for this host
Host cannot be deleted using this method

So I logged into Nagios Core Config Manager | Monitoring Services | deleted service and went to Hosts and deleted the service. But the deleted host still shows up in the dashboard.

This should be in the XI support section... not ideas, I am moving this. You need to delete everything that is attached to that host, including services, then try deleting the host. If apply configuration fails run the following and share the output here. Wrap the output in code wraps, there is a button in the reply page.

CCM > Tools > Write Configs Tool > Verify.
