Hello,
http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Pl ... 29/details seemed like a nice plugin to get some graphs on the load and amount of service checks, latency etc. Nagios XI however is not listed as compatible.
Is it not compatible? Should I give it a try? I kind of think the server statistics, monitoring engine check statistiscs, monitoring engine performance dashlets are nice, but it seems not possible to get this data in the Graph Explorer. (or is it?)
Any advice on this?
Grtz

Re: check_nagiosstats
You should be able to get this information by running the Nagios XI Server wizard against localhost, that will get you the same set of information! Otherwise, we can help you with this plugin, which would probably work.
Re: check_nagiosstats
Sam,
I found the nagiosstats wizard (a bit late to my regrets), which seems to work fine. But I do have some questions. It is possible to get the total service problems and total host problems for a specific hostgroup / servicegroup?
For example I have a hostgroup with all important servers in it, it would be really interesting to have a graph which could visualize the amount of problems for this particular hostgroup. Same for some of my servicegroups.

Re: check_nagiosstats
You can view stats of the localhost only (XI server). I believe the plugin utilizes the "nagiostats". You can view the output by running from the CLI:
I don't think this will work hostgroups/servicesgroups, remote hosts, etc.
Code: Select all
/usr/local/nagios/bin/nagiostatsBe sure to check out our Knowledgebase for helpful articles and solutions!

This thread can be closed. Nagiostats does the trick.
