NCPA agent install error

Post by vmesquita »

I am trying to install NCPA C1.7.2 client on a Windows 2008 R2 Machine, but I am getting an error like the screenshot attached. If I ignore, I keep getting errors for all pyd files. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Did you try right-clicking on the ncpa-1.7.2.exe file, and selecting "Run as administrator"?

I figured out the problem. Aparently the services were stuck in a "Starting" state. Because of that, the uninstaller can no remove them. Therefore, a new install would fail. So I manually killed the NCPA service processes, uninstalled NCPA, removed the folder, did a new install and the problem was fixed.
