Hello,
I have a new nagiosxi 5.4 installation and when trying to add a custom logon using the "custom logo" component, even if I put an image that have no background, the website will show a white background in the logo.
The weirdest part is that I realice that if I access nagiosxi using the IP address I get the white backgroud but If i do access Nagiosxi using the server hostname it does not. I guess this is because I have the IP address in the program URL of the General Settings instead of the hostname.
Any idea how to solve this?
Custom logo wihtout white backgroup
Re: Custom logo wihtout white backgroup
Could it be your browser has cached the content for 'server hostname'
Does this occur when you try a different browser or after you've cleared the cache of the browser you've been using?

Re: Custom logo wihtout white backgroup
After testing different images I've finally managed to make it work. I think it was a mix of bad logo image + stuff in cache despite forcing the reload. I had to open developer tools on Chrome (pressing F12) Click + Hold on the "Reload Page" button. From the popup list, choose "Empty Cache and Hard Reload".bwallace wrote:Could it be your browser has cached the content for 'server hostname'

Glad to hear it's working. I'll be closing this thread now, but feel free to open another if you need anything in the future!
