It appears that doing an upgrade to NagiosXI via the command line inserts an exlude to the upgrade of net-snmp. I believe a while back someone said this was no longer necessary

Can this exclusion be removed from the upgrade script?

I am also experiencing this issue. I installed pyvmomi via pip as well as yum and restarted nagios. NagiosXI version 2026R1.2
