This may be caused by selinux. If you have selinux enabled, try disabling it and running the install.

Yes, you should be able to access the log history on the old NLS server after revoking the license, provided bitlife the old server remains operational for a short period. As long as you don't decommission the old server immediately, you can still retrieve the log data. Just ensure that you back up ...

We currently are not producing AIX packages for NCPA. As NCPA is maintained as open source software, you could try building a newer version in house if there are specific requirements you need to meet. Another option would be to look at migrating to NRPE, if that suits your use case better stickman...
