/usr/local/nagios/var/archives/* & other logs
Nagios XI 2014R2.3 has been running excellent for a couple of years and it does it's job good. I am getting ready to upgrade to a new release of Redhat and Nagios. I realized that Nagios needs more attention than I have been giving it. My /usr/local/nagios/var/archives/* has logs back to day one. My...

Re: Nagios server Reports
No problem. I need to right size our Nagios configuration to split the monitoring into 4 individual Nagios servers feeding into a Fusion server. I just spoke with your sales team on requesting more information. We did have 22K service queries and we had to downsize down to 11K because the single ser...

Nagios server Reports
I need to pull a long term report (CPU, Memory, I/O, SPACE) on the Nagios server itself. We are looking at splitting our server into multiple Nagiso servers to spread the load. I am not the best Nagios person, in fact I am just the Linux admin. I have access to the dashboard and the report section d...

Re: Reports not working
I had a similiar problem of the reports hanging on a single cpu/8core 8gb ram Nagios server. This does not look like your problem. Ours was we had over 22K service checks going. It was just busy. We are down to 11K service checks and reports are ok now. We are also looking into splitting our server ...

Re: SSL conversion from .p7b to .crt
Thank you, I had already verified that the cer was valid using openssl but I had not implemented it on the system. I'll go ahead and put the cert in motion and see what happens. Thanks for the reply.

SSL conversion from .p7b to .crt
I need to add a SSL cert to Nagios. I have the following cert provided to me by internal security sources. Nagios.p7b I've converted it to a .cer and a .pem. I think I need a conversion syntax to .crt to use with this procedure? http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/docs/Configuring-SSL-with-N...
