Error: Invalid max_check_attempts value for host

Please note that this issue has been resolved in Nagios XI 2024R1.1.4

https://nagios.force.com/support/s/article/Upgrade-Instructions-for-Nagios-XI-2024-98ab0b4d

This error is caused on Nagios 2024R1.1.3 when the number 3 is used in the CCM Check Settings under "max check attempts" or the number of rechecks when completing a Wizard set up.

The error occurs when the XI system attempts to apply the configuration.

The current way to overcome this is to use a different number, such as 2 or 4.

Nagios is also treating this issue as a bug and will try to address it in future releases. Please monitor our changelog for updates:
