The RedHat team has marked CentOS/RHEL 7 for End-Of-Life (EOL) on June 30, 2024. If you are still using CentOS/RHEL 7 (or older), Nagios strongly suggests that you upgrade to a more current Operating System (OS) distribution such as CentOS Stream 9 or RHEL 8/9 or a newer, supported version of Ubuntu and Debian. This will ensure that you can use current and future versions of our software and keep up with bug fixes, security patches, and new features. Even though past versions of our commercial software will continue to work, you will not be able to install or upgrade current releases of our software on CentOS/RHEL 7. Nagios will have limited ability to assist with issues/problems on end-of-life operating systems.
See the Nagios Software / Operating System (OS) compatibility matrix for information on CentOS/RHEL 7 compatibility.
