Adding Services To Pre-existing Switch or Router
When a switch or router is already being monitored by Nagios XI, but you need to add an additional service, the limitations of MRTG's functionality keeps that service from being monitored. This document describes how to side step this limitation and dynamically add ports to a switch or an interface to a router.
